Youth Build Collaborative

Two hundred more YouthBuild NYC graduates – Congratulations, Class of 2023!

Some YouthBuild programs call it Graduation, others organize a "Success Ceremony,” but either way, to complete the challenging program year at a YouthBuild site is a significant achievement, and each graduate should be proud of their hard work and dedication. YouthBuild programs provide young people with valuable skills, education, and support to help them succeed in their chosen paths.

Graduates, as you all embark on the next chapter of your lives, remember to reflect on the knowledge and experiences you gained during your time with YouthBuild. Whether you pursued vocational training, obtained your high school diploma or GED, or participated in community service projects, these experiences have equipped you with the tools to pursue your goals and make a positive impact in your community.

Take the time to celebrate your accomplishments and acknowledge the support of your peers, mentors, and instructors who helped you along the way. Remember that graduation is not an endpoint but rather a stepping stone towards a brighter future. Keep setting new goals, learning, and growing as you navigate through your journey.

The skills and knowledge you have acquired through YouthBuild will serve you well as you pursue higher education and/or enter the workforce, and contribute to your community in meaningful ways. Use this momentum to propel yourself forward, stay determined, and continue building a successful and fulfilling life.

Once again, congratulations on your YouthBuild graduation! May your future be filled with endless opportunities and achievements.

Once a YouthBuild, always a YouthBuild!!!
